DESCRIPTION
FR1200, a fingerprint reader with RS485 communication interface works with biometric access controllers and fingerprint standalone access control, including in BIO series controllers, f8 and so on. It offers the function of capturing and transferring finger print samples to access control panel, with its IP65 rated rugged structure, FR1200 offers extra durability in all weather conditions including outdoor environment
FR1200-ID primarily connects with InBio panels. It also connects to stand-alone readers for doors needing both ingress & egress. When users place their finger on the FR1200-ID fingerprint sensor, their fingerprint template is then transferred to the InBio panel via RS485 where it is matched and compared to an access control list on the InBio panel. The door will then open if the user has access rights. The entire process takes less than 1.5 seconds.
