HP Pro Tower 290 G9 Core i7-14700, 8GB RAM, 512GB SSD, DVD Writer, Keyboard and Mouse – A Complete 20-Core Desk Setup With Disc Support Built In
The HP Pro Tower 290 G9 is a business tower desktop that arrives as a near-complete workstation: it includes an HP 9.5 mm Slim DVD-Writer, an HP 125 wired keyboard and an HP 125 wired mouse. As a result, offices can still read and burn discs for archives, statutory records, training material and software installs, while only needing to add a monitor. In addition, the 14th Gen Intel Core i7-14700 brings 20 cores and 28 threads, a 33MB L3 cache and boost speeds up to 5.4GHz.
Furthermore, 8GB of DDR4-3200 RAM sits in one of two DIMM slots, so the second slot remains free for an easy upgrade. A 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD handles fast boot and app loading, and two 3.5-inch drive bays take extra hard drives for long-term file storage. Meanwhile, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, Gigabit Ethernet and TPM 2.0 cover connectivity and security, and the unit ships with FreeDOS for your licensed OS. Consequently, it suits schools, county offices and churches from Nairobi to Nyeri and Kisii that still exchange files and media on disc.
